Introducing emotes

Postby iSylver » Wed Sep 17, 2008 11:17 pm

The emotes have now been added as an above head command. So express your feelings with the use of /love or your hate for someone by /insult.

How do i find out the emotes?

/Emotes - Will bring up all the emotes available for you to use.

how do they work?
They can work twofold:
A) /cheer would display - "ISylver cheers"
B) /cheer player - "iSylver cheers at player"

Get your sound in soma!

We're looking for demo sounds to use with these emotes so we would like to encourage users to submit their sounds either here or by pm.

I look forward to hearing you all..giggle,cry,laugh whatever emotes your heart desires.

If good enough we will implement them :D

Just looks like normal chat.

Scrap the guild name and player name for emotes, putting the players name in front of the text string if you can. Would at least then look something different to the usual.

The formatting of the text is no longer up for discussion.

If you're adding sound you need to add a timer so people cant spam the emotes constantly and give people ear ache.

Also an option to mute them entirely, but I guess that would fall under the 'show emotions' on/off button.
